Directions to Agama Tented Camp:
Please do not use the directions given by Google Earth or Google maps. Despite many attempts to have it rectified, Google Earth and Google Maps will still attempt to take you to the camp via ancient roads which are not in use anymore.
The following coordinates will take you to the entrance gate of Agama Tented Camp:

For those travelling in a Northern direction (from Cape Town to Namibia):
Continue past Garies on the N7 (north), for approximately 10km.
Take the second turn off left (west) to Klipfontein – marked Klipfontein/Middelkraal (tarred road). Do not take the first turn-off market Hondelikpbaai/Koiingnaas.
For those travelling in a Southern direction (from Namibia to Cape Town):
Continue past Kamieskroon on the N7 (south) and take the Klipfontein turn-off (at the Klipfontein/Middelkraal sign) to your right (west), about 12km before Garies. It is a tar road.
***Please note that the Entrance Gate shown on Google Maps is not in use at the moment as the road is under repair. The Entrance Gate current in use is approximately 5,8km further west (towards Klipfontein), on the same tar road***
From the N7 crossing, continue on the Klipfontein tar road for 7.8km. The farm gate is on your right-hand side, marked “Agama Tented Camp”.

Approach the turn-off very slowly to avoid shooting past it. The turn-off is concealed, as it is just a few meters past the top of the second very steep hill.
This gate is locked. Guests will receive the code for the lock with booking confirmation.
